Fatal workplace incident - Lucas Heights

About 12pm today (Tuesday 24 September 2024), emergency services were called to a recycling facility on Little Forest Rd, Lucas Heights.

Police attached to Sutherland Police Area Command attended and NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to treat the 31-year-old man; however, he died at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner and the incident has been referred to SafeWork NSW.
