About 1pm on Monday 8 July 2024, police were called to Lindsay Avenue, Albury following reports a man had been stabbed.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 31-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds to his leg and back, before he was taken to Albury Base Hospital for treatment. The injuries were not life threatening.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District responded and established a crime scene and an investigation commenced.
