Appeal for information following assault and glassing- Albury

Police are appealing for information following a glassing incident in the state’s south at the weekend.
About 9.30pm on Friday (4 November 2022), officers attached to Murray River Police District were called to a licensed premises on David and Guinea Streets, Albury, following reports of an altercation.
Police have been told two men – who are not known to each other – became involved in a verbal argument, before one of the men struck the second man in the face with a glass, before punching him and running from the scene.
The injured man – aged 46 – did not require medical treatment.
As inquiries into the incident continue, police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being aged in his 20s, of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of muscular build and was wearing a baseball cap at the time of the incident. He also has a distinctive full-sleeve tattoo on his right arm.
