A crime scene was established, which was examined by specialist forensic police.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 27-year-old man at a home on Callghan Street, Ashmont, about 4.30pm yesterday (Friday 9 September 2022).

He was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon.

The man was refused bail to appear before Wagga Wagga Bail Court today (Saturday 10 September 2022).
