Seven charged following investigation into illicit drug supply syndicate - Strike Force Keon

Police have seized almost $1 million cash and arrested seven people following the resolution to an investigation into an alleged syndicate involved in the supply of illicit drugs across NSW.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established Strike Force Keon to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs and cigarettes across NSW.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives – with the assistance of Tactical Operations Unit (TOU) and South West Metropolitan Region Operation Support Group (OSG) – arrested seven people in the carpark of a business on Camden Valley Way, Casula, about 11am today (Friday 2 September 2022).

The seven men – two aged 45, two aged 49, 46, 37 and 31 – were taken to Campbelltown police station.

A 45-year-old Macquarie Fields man was charged with large commercial manufacture, large commercial supply, two counts of supply greater than indicatable quantity, knowingly direct criminal group and deal with proceeds of crime.

A 46-year-old from West Hoxton was charged with participate criminal group and three counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

The remaining men were charged with participate in criminal group and two counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

They were all refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 3 September 2022).
