Man missing from Bass Hill found safe

An 87-year-old man reported missing from Bass Hill has been found and is safe.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command made a public appeal for assistance and issued a geo-targeted message to Bass Hill residents to find the man, after he was noticed missing about 3pm today (Saturday 9 July 2022).

A short time ago, the man was found and has been returned home and is safe.

Bankstown Police thank the local community and the media in sharing their appeal.
