Robbery of elderly man- North Albury

Police are appealing for information after an elderly man was robbed in the Murray River region yesterday morning.
About 9am yesterday (Wednesday 15 November), police responded to Sylvania Street, North Albury, after reports a 71-year-old man had been robbed by two women.
Officers from Murray River Police District were informed that the man had his wallet stolen and the women were last seen running north along Sylvania Street.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Albury Hospital in a stable condition.
As inquiries continue police are seeking to speak with the women who maybe able to assist with the investigation.
The first woman is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, a large build, in her mid-twenties, with long black hair and was wearing all dark clothing and a long sleeve shirt at the time of the incident.
The second woman is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, a large build, with orange hair and wearing dark clothing at the time of the offence.
