Teenage boy missing from Armidale - Located

A teen missing from the New England area has been located safe and well.

The 15-year-old boy was dropped off at school on Butler Street, Armidale about 8.45am yesterday (Friday 28 April 2023).

When he failed to return home or make contact with family members, officers from New England Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, the boy located about 8.30am today (Saturday 29 April 2023) in Armidale.

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
