A second man has been charged over an alleged carjacking in Wollongong last month.
About 2.30pm on Saturday 18 March 2023, a 24-year-old woman was refuelling her car at a service station on Corrimal Street, Wollongong, when she was allegedly approached by two men.
One of the men allegedly got in the driver’s seat of the Mercedes station wagon, before demanding the woman’s mother get out of the passenger seat.

The vehicle was later recovered in Port Kembla on Tuesday 21 March 2023.
Investigators arrested a 39-year-old man at a hotel on King Street, just before 2pm on Wednesday 22 March 2023. He has since been charged and remains before the court.
Following further inquiries, a 37-year-old man was arrested on the Princes Highway, Figtree, following an alleged pursuit on a motorcycle through the Wollongong CBD, about 2pm today (Wednesday 12 April 2023).
