Man missing from Austral found safe and well

An elderly man missing in Sydney’s south-west has been located safe and well.

The 82-year-old man was last seen at an aged care facility on Edmondson Avenue, Austral about 10.40am today (Saturday 25 February 2022).

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified with commenced a search with the assistance of PolAir.

Following a public appeal for information and a geo-targeted sms, the man was located safe and well at a service station on Camden Valley Way about 2.30pm today (Saturday 25 February 2023).

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
