Appeal to locate missing woman from Sydney's South West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney’s South West.

Christina Halkiadakis, aged 39, was last seen at a facility on Lester Place, Abbotsford, about 7.30am today (Sunday 1 January 2023).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police have serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with medical conditions.

Christina is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 175cm tall with slim build and shaved head.

She was last seen wearing a black and white striped dress and is barefoot.

She may have been in the vicinity of Drummoyne about 9am.
