Childcare worker charged with allegedly assaulting toddler - Doonside

A childcare worker has been charged with allegedly assaulting a toddler multiple times in Sydney’s west earlier this month.

On Monday 20 October 2025, officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command received a report that a childcare worker had allegedly assaulted a toddler earlier this month at a Doonside childcare centre.

Police were told the worker – a 28-year-old woman – had allegedly assaulted the toddler multiple times on Monday 13 October 2025.

Following inquiries, police charged the 28-year-old with five counts of common assault yesterday (Thursday 23 October 2025).

She was issued a court attendance notice to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 4 December 2025.
