Man reported missing from Kempsey located

A man reported missing from Kempsey has been found safe and well.

The 39-year-old was last heard from about 11am Tuesday, 21 May 2024, when he contacted Triple 0 and said he was bogged in bushland, but was unable to give an exact location.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers from Mid North Coast Police District and the Manning/Great Lakes Police District commenced inquiries to locate him.

Following extensive searches by police – who were assisted by SES, Rural Fire Service and NSW Forestry - the 39-year-old was found safe and well at Dingo Tops this morning (Friday 24 May 2024).
