Appeal to locate man missing from Central Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing on the Central Coast.

Trent Stewart, aged 45, was last seen walking along Norwood Avenue, Hamlyn Terrace about 2pm today (Thursday 9 May 2024), after leaving a nearby aged care home.

When he failed to return and could not be located, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

A search was conducted of the area; however, Trent has not been located and concerns are held for his welfare.

Trent is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 200cm tall, of a large build, and short grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey or green t-shirt with a pocket square, grey tracksuit pants and a camouflaged patterned hat.

Trent is on foot and is known to go on regular walks around the Hamlyn Terrace area.
