A woman and baby missing from Ashfield found

A woman and baby missing from Sydney’s Inner West have been located safe and well.

The 22-year-old and three-week-old were last seen at an address on Liverpool Road, Ashfield, about 6am on Friday 26 April 2024.

When they could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced enquiries into their whereabouts.

Following inquiries, including an appeal for assistance and an SMS Geo Text message, the pair were located in Riverwood about 12.10am today (Sunday 28 April 2024).

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
