• About 3.30pm yesterday (Thursday 28 March 2024), police detected a Toyota Sedan speeding on The Burley Griffin Way, Moombooldool, reaching speeds of 187km/h in a marked 100km/h speed zone. Officers stopped the car and issued the driver, a 28-year-old man, with traffic infringement notice which carries a fine of $2794 and the loss of 12 demerit points. The man also had his licenced suspended.

  • About 12.20am today (Friday 29 March 2024), police detected a Lexus Sedan speeding on Henry Lawson Drive, Padstow, reaching speeds of 154km/h in a marked 70km/h speed zone. The P1 driver, a 17-year-old boy, was drug tested and returned a positive result for cocaine. He was issued a future court attendance notice for drive speed manner dangerous and exceed speed over 45k/h. He was also issued multiple traffic infringements and had his licence suspended.
