Two men will face court charged with murder after a drive-by shooting in Ambarvale earlier this year.

Detectives attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command launched Strike Force Apslawn to investigate the death of the 65-year-old woman after a public-place shooting at her home in Dickens Road about 11pm on Monday 14 April 2025.

Following extensive inquiries, detectives – with assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU) – attended a home at Liverpool, where a 32-year-old man was arrested. At the same time, a 19-year-old man was arrested at a home in Belmore.

They were taken to Bankstown Police Station where each has now been charged with murder.

They’ve been refused bail and will appear before Bankstown Local Court today (Wednesday 16 July 2025).
