Wanted man extradited and charged - Dareton

A man will face court charged with outstanding arrest warrants in the state’s far west.

About 2pm on Monday 26 May 2025, officers attached to Barrier Highway Patrol and Victoria Police attended a home on Ambleside Crescent, Mildura, and arrested a 19-year-old man.

He was remanded overnight at Mildura Police Station and appeared at Mildura Local Court on Tuesday 27 May 2025, where application for extradition to New South Wales was granted.

The man was taken to Dareton Police Station where two outstanding arrest warrants were executed for domestic violence, traffic, property-related offences and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court yesterday (Tuesday 27 May 2025), where he was formally refused bail to appear at Wentworth Local Court on Tuesday 3 June 2025
