Appeal to locate missing man - Croydon

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Inner West.

Hermann Szlagowski, aged 68, was last seen on Brighton Street, Croydon, shortly before 11.30am today (Friday 16 May 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia and other medical conditions.

Hermann is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of large build, with white hair.

He was last seen wearing a black zipper jacket, black trousers, an ID bracelet which includes his name and contact details.

Hermann is known to frequent the Strathfield, Auburn and Burwood Areas.
