Police have released CCTV as investigations continue into an alleged home invasion in Sydney’s south last year, under Strike Force Nobleford.
On Sunday 18 August 2024, officers from St George Police Area Command were called to Patrick Street, Hurstville, after reports two males had forced entry to a home, armed with a pistol, and with their faces concealed.
Two men - aged 21 and 17 – were allegedly threatened before the older man was allegedly assaulted.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries. The teenager was uninjured.
An amount of cash was allegedly stolen from the home.
Following investigations, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged in September 2024. He remains before the courts.
As inquiries are ongoing, police have released CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man, believed to aged in his late teens, is depicted in the CCTV standing outside a fast food restaurant inside a shopping centre on Forest Road, Hurstville, about 5.30pm on Sunday 18 August 2025.
He is seen wearing a black jumper, black pants and a white hat.
