Two men charged after 15 handguns seized - Strike Force Lamm

Two men will face court charged with firearms offences following an investigation into the manufacture of illegal firearms in Sydney’s southwest.
About 8.30am yesterday (Tuesday 2 December 2025), detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a unit in Bardwell Park.
During the search warrant, police allegedly seized an unregistered Smith & Wesson .38 calibre revolver with 169 rounds.
Police arrested a 39-year-old man at the unit, and he was taken to Kogarah Police Station.
A second search warrant was executed at a storage facility at Commercial Road, Kingsgrove.
Police allegedly located an AR15 assault rifle, an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a pistol, approximately 30 3D printed high-capacity pistol magazines, ammunition and numerous 3D printed slides and pistol frames.
A third search warrant was executed at Power Street, St Marys being the safe storage location of the 39-year-old man’s firearms. Police identified that not a single item was located within the safe storage location.
A fourth search warrant was executed about 12:10am this morning (Wednesday 3 December 2025) at Forest Road, Arncliffe.
Inside, police allegedly located a significant firearms manufacture operation, including an industrial size CNC Mill, 3D Printer, countless magazines, slides, barrels and ammunition.
A Crime Scene was declared which was processed by specialist police.
As part of the ongoing investigation by Strike Force Lamm detectives, about 6.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 2 December 2025), officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command, with the assistance of Polair, Highway Patrol, Dog Unit and detectives, stopped the driver of a white Toyota Hiace van on Somerset Avenue, Narellan, near Camden Valley Way.
The driver, a 29-year-old man, was arrested without incident.
A search of the vehicle allegedly located a green duffle bag containing two privately made firearms (PMF). The firearms contained slides, barrels and a steel receiver.
Police located an additional grey coloured box allegedly containing what appeared to be a folding semi-automatic style rifle. The firearm did not have a barrel and appeared to have pieces missing. Police allegedly located magazines and banana clips containing numerous rounds of ammunition, and six silencers and silencer parts.
A bumbag was located within the vehicle allegedly containing a revolver firearm.
In addition to the search, police allegedly located $4300 in the man’s wallet.
The 29-year-old man was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station.
He was charged with six offences – possess more than three unregistered firearms – one is a prohibited pistol, acquire prohibited firearm part with no authority to do so, possess ammunition without holding a licence or permit, possess a prohibited weapon with permit (two counts) and deal with property – proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today (Wednesday 3 December 2025).
The man arrested at Bardwell Park was charged with 11 firearm offences – possess unauthorised firearm (two counts), possess unregistered firearm – pistol (two counts), not keep firearm safely – pistol, possess ammunition without a licence or permit, possess unauthorised prohibited firearm (two counts), possess unregistered firearm, not keep firearm safely and participate criminal group – contribute criminal activity.
He was refused bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court today (Wednesday 3 December 2025).
