Online Police Reports

Where no emergency exists and no immediate police response is required, registered Community members can initiate Lost Property, Intentional Damage & Graffiti and Theft police reports through the NSW Police Force Community Portal:

All online report information will only ever be reviewed and held by the NSW Police Force.  Information provided will always be secure and confidential.

Once a report is submitted,  a new ‘Reference’ number is automatically generated and a notification will be sent electronically via email. As each online report is submitted, the NSW Police will continue to perform the same checks as if the report was made on the phone or at a Police Station.  As the report is updated a status notification is electronically sent to the Community member.

All historical reports can be viewed by the Community member whilst their MyServiceNSW registration is active.


It should be noted, due to the nature of the eligible online reports available, the NSW Police Force in the absence of further information or evidence, will take no further action in relation to these reports.  However, if the NSW Police Force receives new information, we will contact you, or if you receive new information, please contact us straight away.
