Off Duty Possession of Pistol
This permit will authorise a security guard, to retain possession of a pistol registered to their current employer, whilst off duty. The applicant must be the holder of a current category H firearms licence for the genuine reason of Business Employment - security guard. Clause 79 and Clause 80 - Firearms Regulation 2006 relates.
Application
Each Off Duty Possession of Pistol Permit application must contain:
1. A completed firearms permit application form - FORM P634 - Application for a Firearms Permit (PDF)
2. A legitimate reason form with supporting documentation - FORM - Off Duty Possession of Pistol Legitimate Reason (PDF)
