Our Police Career Day is a great way for you to meet and chat to local police officers, university lecturers and police officers from the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch about becoming a police officer. Come and see what a career in the NSW Police Force can offer you. NSW Police Force Recruitment BranchHave a chat with staff from the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch. Learn about Professional Suitability requirements: appropriate behavioural background including criminal history, integrity, traffic history, employment and medical history. You can also learn about the requirements to undertake and pass Physical Capacity Testing and supply certification in terms of current Senior First Aid (including the use of Pocket Mask), ability to swim 100m and the ability to type 25wpm with 98% accuracy. You must be the holder of a current motor vehicle drivers license and have obtained the Green P requirement (NSW or equivalent) and be an Australian Citizen or have permanent residency. The recruitment officers will give you a great opportunity to further explore and gain an insight into the NSW Police Force as a career. Charles Sturt UniversityStaff from Charles Sturt University (CSU) are also available to discuss academic requirements. Prospective applicants are encouraged to speak with CSU staff and discuss their CV and academic qualifications.
