Download Professional Suitability Application
YOU SHOULD ONLY COMPLETE the Professional Suitability Application and Medical History Assessment (both blue and red forms) if you have been assessed and passed as 'academically suitable' by Charles Sturt University (CSU).
If you have not yet been assessed by CSU, you can request an 'Application for Admission' now.
When you have been assessed and passed by CSU, you will receive a CSU Identification number AND a CSU Admissions Code. Your application WILL NOT BE PROCESSED by the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch if you DO NOT have this number and code. NB: Please indicate on the Professional Suitability Application if you are applying as a Bachelor Student from Charles Sturt University (Bachelor of Justice Studies) or the University of Western Sydney (Bachelor of Policing).
You should be aware that the Medical History Assessment process can be a costly exercise. Unless you have a CSU Identification Number AND CSU Admissions Code (eg KAPP2 or EADP3) from the university, there is no benefit to you completing the applications.
PLEASE NOTE - The Police Recruitment Branch will forward all correspondence to you via email. You should ensure that you clearly indicate your email address when you complete your Professional Suitability Application.
IMPORTANT UPDATE - NSW Police Recruitment will soon be introducing an online application process. Applicants will then be required to complete their Professional Suitability Application online and will need to upload/attach all required certificates. The Medical Assessment form will be remaining on the Recruitment website for applicants to download. Further updates will be posted on this site advising when the online application will be implemented.
Should you have any queries or questions regarding this information, please contact the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch on 1800 222 122.
