Missing man - Inner-west

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an elderly man missing in Sydney’s inner-west.

William Medd, aged 89, left Royal Prince Alfred Hospital about 5pm yesterday (Thursday 12 October 2017).

He may be attempting to return to his home in Annandale.

Mr Medd suffers from delirium and advanced dementia and police have serious concerns for his welfare.

He is of Caucasian appearance, 160cm tall, thin build, white hair, wearing glasses, chequered blue and white shirt, long grey pants, grey shoes, a black leather jacket and he was carrying a black briefcase and a dark coloured duffel bag.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
