Man charged over alleged drink driving - Rosebery

A man has been charged after allegedly drink-driving in Sydney’s south.
Just before 10pm on Friday 11 August 2017, police pulled over a 35-year-old Queensland man, driving a black Holden Commodore, after flames were seen at the back of his car on Macquarie Street, Rosebery.
The fire caused damage to the rear bumper and was put out with an extinguisher.
The man was given a roadside breath test where he allegedly returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Mascot Police Station where a breath analysis returned a reading of 0.231.
The man was charged with drive with high-range PCA, not comply P1 licence - no P plates and not give way to vehicle at T-intersection. His licence was also suspended.
He is due to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 14 September 2017.
