Fatal crash - central-west NSW

A woman has died and three men are injured after a crash in the state’s central-west this morning.

About 5.15am (Saturday 12 August 2017), police were called following reports of a crash on Lake Cargelligo Road, Ungarie, 40km north-west of West Wyalong.

Officers from Griffith Local Area Command attended and found a Toyota Hilux had crashed at the location.

Emergency services attended; however a 19-year-old woman who had been travelling as a rear-seat passenger died at the scene.

The front-seat passenger, a 23-year-old man, was taken to West Wyalong Hospital before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.

A 23-year-old man, who had been driving the car, and a 22-year-old man, who had been travelling as a rear-seat passenger, were both taken to West Wyalong Hospital before being taken to Orange Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Inquiries are continuing into the crash. `
