Police investigate bus crash – Lane Cove
Saturday, 07 Nov 2009 05:16amPolice on Sydney’s North Shore are investigating the circumstances surrounding a peak-hour collision between two buses at Lane Cove.
About 5.45pm yesterday (Friday 6 November), a southbound government bus collided with the rear of a private bus on the Gore Hill Freeway.
The male driver of the private bus was conveyed by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment of a neck injury.
Paramedics also treated to seven passengers from the government bus who suffered relatively minor injuries. Three of them were later transported to hospital.
Traffic was delayed for several hours in the area as emergency services personnel, investigators and salvage crews conducted their operations.
Police from North Shore Local Area Command are continuing their investigations into the cause of the collision.
