Man to face court following alleged sexual assault – Bondi Beach
Wednesday, 04 Nov 2009 05:37amA man will appear in court today following the alleged sexual assault of a woman at Bondi Beach last night.
About 10pm police were called to Marks Park at the northern end of Bondi Beach.
A woman told police she had been sexually assaulted by a man at a location nearby.
A 54-year-man from Bondi was arrested at the scene and taken to Waverley Police Station.
He was charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of resist police, and two counts of assault police.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Waverley Local Court today.
