Man charged over armed robbery of Beverly Hills hotel
Monday, 02 Nov 2009 11:09amA man is due to appear in Blacktown Local Court this morning charged over the armed robbery of a hotel at Beverly Hills in July this year.
Police will allege the 29-year-old man entered the building on King Georges Road on 11 July 2009 through a smashed window.
He allegedly threatened staff with a shotgun and demanded cash before running from the scene.
Following extensive inquiries by Hurstville detectives and officers from Forensic Services Group an arrest warrant was issued for a Waterloo man.
The man was yesterday arrested by police at Blacktown on an unrelated incident. A check revealed the outstanding warrant and he was charged with armed robbery.
The man was remanded in custody before his appearance in court this morning.
