Man stabbed - Wollongong

Police are investigating a stabbing in Koonawarra, a suburb of Wollongong, last night.
Just before 9pm (Wednesday 12 July 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Walbon Crescent, Koonawarra, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, police found a 29-year-old man with a wound to his torso.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before he was taken to Wollongong Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not considered life threatening.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.
