Woman charged following investigations into the death of Brayden Dillon - SCC Homicide Squad

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad have charged a woman following investigations into the alleged murder of a teenager at Glenfield on Good Friday.

Police were called to a home on Moresby Avenue, Glenfield, about 6.10am on Friday 14 April 2017, and found 15-year-old Brayden Dillon in bed with a gunshot wound to his head.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition, where he later died.

An investigation was launched by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Macquarie Fields Local Area Command under Strike Force Wongala.

About 2pm today (Wednesday 12 July 2017), a 30-year-old woman was arrested by strike force investigators at Blacktown.

She was subsequently charged with murder and refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 13 July 2017).

Investigations are continuing.
