Police investigate after man shot - Marsfield

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Sydney’s North West overnight.

Just before 8.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 11 July 2017), emergency services were called to the intersection of Epping Road and Vimiera Road at Marsfield.

Officers from Ryde Local Area Command attended and found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to a hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established and forensically examined by specialist police.

The man is not assisting police.
