A woman will face court today charged with 52 drug offences following a search warrant in Sydney’s inner city.

In May 2017, officers attached to Kings Cross Local Area Command commenced investigations into the supply of prohibited drugs in the Woolloomooloo area.

Following inquiries, officers attended a unit on Brougham Street, Woolloomooloo, just after 8am yesterday (Wednesday 14 June 2017), and executed a search warrant.

During the search, officers allegedly located and seized a prohibited weapon, a small amount of drugs, drug paraphernalia and mobile phones.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Kings Cross Police Station.

The woman was charged with 52 counts of supply prohibited drug, ongoing supply of a prohibited drug, supply a restricted substance, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

She was refused bail and is due to appear at Central Local Court today (Thursday 15 June 2017).
