Woman charged over stabbing - Nowra

A woman has been charged after a domestic stabbing at Bomaderry yesterday.

About 3.30am on Friday 9 June 2017, a 46-year-old man was stabbed three times in the shoulder after answering a knock at his door on Alfred Street, Bomaderry.

The offender fled the scene following the incident.

Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The man was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital, where he was treated for non life threatening injuries and subsequently released.

Following inquiries, police attended a home on Neale Place, Bomaderry, and arrested a 45-year-old woman.

She was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today (Saturday 10 June 2017).
