A six-year-old boy was seriously injured after a crash at Griffith yesterday.

The boy was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Griffith Base Hospital. He was then airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Ford Utility, a 54-year-old woman, uninjured, was taken to Griffith Base Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Griffith Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
