Four injured after Parramatta fire

Inquiries are continuing after four people were injured, one seriously, after a fire at a Parramatta unit block this morning.

About 3.55am (Monday 5 June 2017), emergency services were called to a fire in the ground floor car park of the Early Street complex.

Four people were assessed on site by NSW Ambulance paramedics. All were taken to hospital for further treatment

Once the scene has been declared safe, specialist personnel from NSW Police Force and Fire & Rescue NSW will begin work to determine the cause.

Local traffic diversions are in place.
