Appeal to locate missing woman - Blacktown

Police are appealing to the public to help locate a woman missing from Sydney’s west.

Silvana Cox, aged 60, was last seen leaving her home on Manto Street, Bungarribee, a suburb of Blacktown, about 11.30am on Friday 7 July 2017 in her silver Nissan Pulsar, with registration plates VEM901.

She was last heard from just before 1pm on Friday after sending a text message. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Officers attached to Blacktown Local Area Command hold serious concerns for her welfare as she suffers a medical condition.

Mrs Cox is described as being of Indian/Sub Continental appearance, 150cm tall, of slim build, with short dark brown hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink or white long sleeve shirt and long black skirt.

Police are urging anyone who sees Mrs Cox or her vehicle, or knows her whereabouts to contact Blacktown Police Station via Crime Stoppers.
