Multiple persons injured after crash - Campbelltown

Investigations are underway after a number of people were injured following a two-vehicle crash at Campbelltown today.

Shortly before 1pm (Saturday 8 July 2017), emergency services were called to Appin Road, 2km south of Copperfield Drive, Rosemeadow after reports a Suzuki Vitara and a Honda Accord collided.

The driver of the Suzuki Vitara, a man aged in his 70s, was trapped in the vehicle for a period of time before being released. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a suspected broken collarbone, before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

His female passenger, a woman aged in her 70s, was also treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

The driver of the Honda Accord, a man aged in his 60s, was not injured.

His two female passengers, believed to be aged in their 20s and 60s were assessed at the scene by paramedics. The 20-year-old woman was taken to Campbelltown Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers attached to Campbelltown Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
