Three charged following Wyong shooting

Police have charged three people following an alleged shooting on the Central Coast earlier this week.
Just before 12.30pm (Monday 3 July 2017), emergency services were called to Warner Avenue, Wyong, following reports of shots fired.
A 19-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene. Another man, aged 28, was treated for a grazes to his hand and shoulder at the scene.
It is believed a number of shots were fired from a white vehicle into the car the two men were sitting in.
Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command has been investigating the incident with assistance from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
About 10.50am today (Tuesday 4 July 2017), police arrested a 48-year-old man during a car stop at George Booth Drive, Sea Hampton. He was taken to Toronto Police Station where he was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
He was refused bail to appear at Toronto Local Court today, Wednesday 5 July 2017.
Tactical Operations Unit officers stopped a second vehicle in Forest Road, Wyee, about 1.20pm and arrested a 24-year-old man.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with murder, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm x 2, shoot with intent to murder, and fire firearm in or near public place.
He was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court today, Wednesday 5 July 2017.
A 17-year-old girl was arrested a short time later in nearby Wyee Street and taken to Wyong Police Station where she was charged with murder and wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court today, Wednesday 5 July 2017.
