Woman stabbed, man charged - Chester Hill

A man has been charged after a woman was stabbed in Chester Hill yesterday.

Just after 2.15pm (Sunday 2 July 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Marks Street, after reports of a woman had been injured.

Police arrived and located a 30-year-woman with a wound to her arm.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at a nearby home and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding.

The man has been refused bail and will appear before Bankstown Local Court today (Monday 3 July 2017).
