Police investigating serious crash - Queanbeyan

Police are investigating after a serious crash in Queanbeyan yesterday.

Just after 1.30pm (Saturday 1 July 2017), emergency services were called to Canberra Avenue, following reports of a crash.

Officers from Monaro Local Area Command attended and found a semi-trailer and a motorcycle had crashed at the location.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated the rider, a 36-year-old man, before he was conveyed to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the semi-trailer, a 31-year-old man, was uninjured.

Inquiries into the crash are continuing.
