Police investigate after fatal crash - Chester Hill

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal single vehicle crash at Chester Hill this morning.
Shortly before 6.30am (Saturday 1 July 2017) emergency services were called to Waldron Road near Campbell Hill Road after a Holden Commodore Station wagon struck a concrete traffic island and then a power pole.
An occupant of the vehicle, a woman believed to be in her 30’s, was found on a footpath nearby, deceased.
Three occupants fled the area. There was a large amount of paint located at the scene.
A crime scene was established and police continue the search for the three other occupants.
Officers attached to Bankstown Local Area Command and police from the Crash Investigation Unit, will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
