Fast food restaurant robbed - Kingsford

Police are investigating after a fast food restaurant at Kingsford was robbed early this morning.

About 5.45am (Wednesday 28 June 2017), three masked men entered the restaurant on Barker Street armed with hammers.

At the time the restaurant was open and trading, with a number of staff and customers present.

Officers have been told the men took cash and left on foot by jumping through a drive-thru window.

Police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were called and attended a short time later, securing a crime scene.

As investigations continue, detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The first man has been described as being short and thin; the second man is described as being of medium build and of average height, whilst the third man is described as being tall and thin.

All three men were wearing black hooded jumpers.
