Police appeal for information following fatal shooting - Tweed Heads

Detectives are appealing for information as investigations continue into the murder of a man in the state’s north at the weekend.

About 4.30pm on Saturday (24 June 2017), police attended Tweed Heads District Hospital after receiving information a man suffering a gunshot wound had presented at the hospital.

The man died a short time later.

He has been formally identified as 31-year-old man, Ace Hall.

A crime scene search warrant was executed at an industrial estate on Machinery Drive, Tweed Heads yesterday (Sunday 25 June 2017).

Detectives from Tweed Heads Local Area Command, with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, established Strike Force Varndell to investigate Mr Hall’s death.

Police are seeking information on a 2017 white Holden Commodore station wagon located in Steep Street, Tweed Heads today (Monday 26 June 2017).
