CCTV released over possible abduction - Blackett

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for public assistance after a woman was reportedly dragged into a vehicle at Blackett yesterday.

Shortly before 2am (Saturday 24 June 2017), emergency services were called to Keesing Crescent, following reports a woman was heard screaming for help and beeping a car horn.

Police have been told a man was seen dragging the woman into a white dual-cab utility stopped at the intersection of Keesing Crescent and Jersey Road.

The vehicle was last seen being driven east along Jersey Road before turning north into Carlisle Avenue.

Officers from Mt Druitt Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

At this time there have been no reports of anyone missing from this area.

The man is described only as being of Caucasian appearance.

As part of their inquiries police have now released CCTV footage, seeking information on a vehicle being described as a white Holden Rodeo dual cab utility.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who has information who has not yet contacted police or who were in the vicinity to contact Mt Druitt Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
