Man arrested following stabbing - Lane Cove

A man has been arrested following a stabbing at Lane Cove overnight.

Just after 11.30pm (Saturday 24 June 2017), police and emergency services were called to a house on Burns Bay Road following reports of an injured man inside.

Officers located a 35-year-old man with lacerations to his face and neck.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Chatswood police station where he is assisting police with inquiries.

Initial investigations suggest the two men are known to each other.
