Man with serious injuries following assault - Lethbridge Park

A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following an assault at a house in Lethbridge Park.

Just after 2am (Friday 2 June 2017), police from Mt Druitt attended a house in Apia Place after receiving information a man had been assaulted with a blunt object.

Police arrived to find a 48-year-old man with serious wounds to his head after it is alleged two men entered the house and attacked him. Three other men in the house at the time were not injured.

NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and the man was taken to Westmead Hospital suffering serious head injuries.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
