Man in critical condition after serious crash

A man is in a critical condition after a serious crash in Sydney’s south east overnight.

About 9pm (Tuesday 30 May 2017), emergency services were called south bound along General Holmes Drive, Mascot, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival officers located a 20-year-old male passenger trapped in a Mitsubishi Lancer. He was taken to St George Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer, and his three passengers were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. One of his passengers was taken to St George Hospital for minor injuries.

The male driver, sustained chest pain and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Botany Bay Local Area Command established a crime scene and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
